I learned that perspective is key. Even in a conversation, the shot cuts between different angles so much, making it much more engaging to watch then a boring shot in front. In fight scenes this comes into play. I also learned to plan for other films, even though this won’t affect me as much. In Spiderman far from home they messed up the timelines compared to other other movies messing up the overlap of them. By that I mean they had spoilers for the movie coming after it, which was Avengers Infinity War. I also appreciate now how long editing takes. Having just started to get good at editing this semester I know it takes time. Especially after watching this movie, anything involving Spiderman is special effects because of his powers etc. Also all the fighting and explosions and other crazy aspects of this movie look very realistic, which means it took lots of time. All of Spiderman walking on a wall or using his webs requires a green-screen or a green suit so that must have been very tedious when editing.

The pre-production included Marvel and Sony collaborating to work together. They butted heads a lot towards the end of production, but as I imagine there was a fair amount of tension when collaborating for this project. Marvel wanted to hold the release of the film to hopefully prevent spoilers but Sony decided to release it anyways.
